Reading is important to all of us.
If you’re struggling to read because of your sight, we’ve got plenty of solutions to help, whatever your tastes and reading preferences. We’ve put together some information and guides to help you get started.
The free EasyReader app is a great way to enjoy RNIB’s Talking Books, talking newspapers and accessible school curriculum content.
Created by assistive technology developer Dolphin, the app will allow you to browse and download content from three different RNIB reading services:
- RNIB Talking Books (now available through RNIB Reading Services online library)
- RNIB Newsagent
- RNIB Bookshare’s Education Collection.
EasyReader is available on both iOS and Android devices.
RNIB worked with Dolphin to ensure the app is tailored to readers with a vision impairment or dyslexia. The app offers a simple interface and access to downloaded content in one place, on a smartphone or tablet.
