The coastal town of Dahanu, about 110 km from Mumbai, is back with the second of ‘Dahanu Festival’. Scheduled for this weekend, the three-day festival will present a series of engaging workshops on pottery and painting, art exhibitions showcasing the creativity of local artists, horse racing at the beach and a series of water sports and aero sports. The festival also offers off-site activities such as star gazing, farm visits, night camping and explorations of fisherman’s villages.

New menu launch at Bayroute

A play on friendship and secrets
Directed by Karla Singh and produced by Raëll Padamsee, Hidden Agendas is an ensemble production featuring Tannaz Irani, Anu Menon, Delnaz Irani, Sid Makkar, SharmaG, Zervaan Bunshah, Varun Narayan and Renée Sen. Set against a rare lunar eclipse, the story revolves around a group of good friends who find out too much about each other when they leave their smartphones open to the group at a dinner party.

A children’s literature festival
Museum of Solutions is organising a one-day children’s literature festival titled ‘Peek A Book’ this weekend. Curated by children’s writer Lubaina Bandukwala as a platform for Mumbai’s children to discover books especially written by Indian children’s authors, it will feature 16 sessions. Each session is designed to offer a diverse range of books to appeal to kids between 4-12 years. The festival will also see four well-known Indian children’s authors — Ashok Rajagopalan, Anushka Ravishankar, Anand Neelakantan and Devika Cariapa — launching their new books.
