Who Is the Best Character on Brooklyn 99?
The Brooklyn Nine-Nine cast had undeniable chemistry. There were so many great characters, from Jake and Amy to Gina, Hitchcock and Scully, Rosa, Amy, and Charles. Even side characters were memorable, like Doug Judy, Adrian Pimiento, and Madeline Wuntch. So who was the best character on the show? My personal favorite is Captain Holt. I love the way the captain sticks by his morals and inspires those around him to reach their potential. As the team gets to know him better, he reveals amusing and lovable quirks. His stoic demeanor is a great foil for the more zany characters on the show, and it contrasts beautifully with his genuine love of his colleagues. Andre Braugher did an amazing job of embodying the straight-laced captain.

Unpopular Opinion: The Spider-Verse Movies Are Just OK
When Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse came out, I was being told by anyone and everyone that it was the best Spider-Man anything of all time. Then, I finally bought it on digital when it was available for home release, and… it was just fine. It certainly was NOT the best Spider-Man movie I’d ever seen — nor was it better than some Spider-Man shows or comics I’d consumed. I still think it (and its sequel) was good, but definitely not anywhere as great as I was made to believe it would be.
What Kill Scene From a Horror Movie Lives Rent-Free in Your Head?
When talking about iconic or memorable kill scenes from horror movies, I tend to think of the iconic slasher franchises. The one that stands out the most is Jason Voorhees swinging a victim in a sleeping bag against a tree. He did this in Friday the 13th Part VII: The New Blood, but it was even more memorable in Jason X simply because it was happening inside a virtual reality chamber.
What Movie Adaptations Are Better Than the Books?
“The book was better” is a cliché saying for a reason, but what are some examples of movies that are better than the books they adapted? One that comes to mind for me is The Lost World: Jurassic Park. The movie isn’t the most spectacular, but it’s still a lot of fun! The book, though… It’s not something I’d necessarily recommend.
Jason Statham’s Most Underrated Movie
Jason Statham has proved to be one of the biggest action-movie box office draws in the last 20 years. His recent movie, The Beekeeper, was the year’s surprise hit so far. For my money, one of Statham’s most underrated movies – sitting at a 59% audience score on RT – is Safe. With kinetic, well-shot, and choreographed action, Safe is an action-thriller that keeps its foot on the pedal. What’s your favorite underrated Jason Statham movie?
Was Darth Vader Actually More Powerful Than Emperor Palpatine?
In 2005, George Lucas confirmed Anakin’s injuries on Mustafar cost him much of his Force potential, resulting in him being approximately 80% of Palpatine. Still, I believe that if Vader fully embraced the dark side of the Force – and rid himself of his near-constant internal conflict – he could match or exceed Palpatine. Do you think a conflict-free Vader could defeat Palpatine?
