Members of the Tullow Mens Shed have create a “little library” in Tullow where you can ‘Take a book, share a book’ in County Carlow.
The new book share door works by people taking a book from the door and then leaving a book of their own in the door allowing people to share their favourite books with each other and promoting a nice community of readers across the Tullow area.
They shared images of the new book sharing door on their Facebook page with the caption reading:
“We now have a little Library outside the men’s shed your welcome to take a book leave a book you don’t have to bring it back if you don’t want to
Shoulder to shoulder together we can make a difference.”
Social media comments under the post read: “I have plenty of books. I’ll keep an eye to see if it’s running low.”
Another users writes: “Love it fab idea!”
A third user writes: “Believe me you have NO idea how important this will be! prepare to be book bombed too….have storage! People told me that during the pandemic our Little Free Library was the only place they went to when they went out!”
