The latest Natick, Mass., business news:
Anthology senior living facility getting new operator
Anthology of Natick, the senior living facility that opened a year ago on Rte. 135, will soon be operated by a Norwood outfit called LCB Senior Living. Residents and families of Anthology were recently notified of the pending change, set to take effect on July 1.
LCB’s roots in assisted and memory care living go back some 30 years, and the business currently owns or operates 17 such communities in Massachusetts, plus another 22 across the northeast, per the memo sent to residents and families.
“Despite this change in management, be assured that the care and day-to-day experience that you or your loved one have enjoyed will remain essentially as it has been, managed and staffed by local professionals,” the letter from LCB’s chief executive officer read. “We do have some exciting plans to enhance some of the services at your community, and to ensure that the building itself is maintained to the high standards that you are no doubt accustomed to.”
Anthology has seen numerous management and other changes since it opened last year. We hear the facility is about half occupied.
(We reached out to Anthology for comment on the news, but have not heard back, other than that our inquiry was passed along to management.)
An LCB spokesman confirmed the changes, and that Anthology of Millis is also part of the operating transition designed to take the facilities to the next level. Comparable LCB facilities operate in communities such as Hingham and Ashland.
Among new services residents might look forward to are technology-based ones. For example, LCB partners with a firm called REACT Neuro that specializes in brain health.
